AMATLAN de CAÑAS is located in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico, a 3 hour drive from Guadalajara. Up until 12 years ago the pueblo was isolated because there were only dirt roads. Since paving a road to the main highway, progress has been made, but not too much. To walk down the cobbled stoned streets and feel the genuine warmth of the local people will be part of your healing process.
Los Pavorreales, means "The Peacocks". It is a 10 year old - 8 unit quaint hotel in a charming Mexican pueblo. A five minute pleasant walk to several hot spring pools. Organic lemon and lime, mango and other exotic fruit trees grow right on the property and make shade for the real peacocks. There are also roosters also, (bring your earplugs - they wake up early) and two spaniels named Bernardo and Gucci.
TARIFAS: $500 ($50 US) , $600 ($60 US), $650 ($65 US) Y $900 PESOS (or $90 US) POR NOCHE, (con o sin cocinetta), personas extras pagan $100 pesos por noche, solo niños de cargar no pagan.
Includes two double sized beds, closet, roomy bathroom, TV, ceiling fan, terraza with table and chairs over looking the beautiful green grounds with exotic birds walking around, organic fruit trees, private parking, cool swimming pool, picnic tables and more.
